Until September 30, the Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey will be accessible without a passport for tourists making a day trip by boat, using a regular line. Visitors traveling to the islands with their own boat will need to take their passport.
This measure aims to relaunch tourist visits to the islands affected by Brexit and the need to travel to the United Kingdom with a passport. Day visitors will therefore be able to take the ferry using their identity card.
