For an exceptional night in a unique site, head to the Pays des Abers in Brittany! Renovated and transformed into a gîte, the house of the lighthouse keepers of the Ile Vierge can accommodate up to 9 people. A precious landmark for sailors and icon of the Pays des Abers, the Île Vierge is home to two lighthouses: a first 33m building built in 1845 and a second 82.50m lighthouse, the tallest in the world built of freestone.
It is at the foot of the small lighthouse that visitors will be able to sleep, as the keepers did until 2010, in a 150 m2 house with whitewashed stone vaults and a floor with original granite slabs. . It contains 4 bedrooms with 2 to 3 beds including traditional carved wooden beds.
Possibility to climb to the top of the small lighthouse, ideal spot to admire the sunrise and/or the sunset, in the heart of a glass dome.
