Citizens of 22 countries, including France, Belgium and Canada, no longer need to apply for an electronic travel authorization (K-ETA) to travel to the country since April 1, 2023. This temporary measure will applies until 31 December 2024.
Travelers eligible for this entry easing measure are allowed to stay in Korea without a visa, and therefore without K-ETA, for 90 days.
Approved K-ETA holders can use them until their expiration date but no refunds will be given to those who have already submitted an Electronic Travel Authorization application.
