This year again, the European Commission will offer 35,000 Interrail passes to 18-year-olds to travel between June 2023 and September 2024. The aim is to foster a sense of unity and solidarity within the EU through the intermediary of cross-border travel.
Nationals of EU Member States as well as those of Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia and Turkey born between 1 July 2004 and 30 June 2005 inclusive can apply on the site youth.europa.eu from Wednesday March 15 at 12 p.m. to Wednesday March 29 at 12 p.m.
To take part and obtain a ticket, candidates will have to answer six questions relating to the European Union.
The winners will be notified by email and will be able to use their 30-day ticket between June 15, 2023 and September 30, 2024 on board trains and certain ferries in 33 countries. A good initiative to discover Europe.
