OpenSea Pro was recently launched by OpenSea after acquiring the NFT aggregator Gem in April 2022. This new NFT marketplace aggregator aims to meet the requirements of “professional” users by offering an unprecedented level of choice, diversity and control for collectors and experienced traders.
This new platform presents a set of optimized features, allowing collectors to unearth the best opportunities and analyzes among 170 marketplaces, while giving them access to state-of-the-art tools. Moreover, OpenSea Pro incorporates an “Advanced Purchase” option that offers users the ability to navigate the deepest pools of liquidity among NFT marketplace aggregators, giving them greater control over their purchases.
OpenSea Pro was also designed to be mobile-friendly and optimized for mobile useallowing users to view and scan NFT from their smartphones. During a promotional period, it is possible to list NFTs on OpenSea with 0% fees via OpenSea Pro.
The Gem team is also hosting a special “thank you” drop in the form of an NFT Gemesis launch, coinciding with OpenSea Pro going live. Users who purchased an NFT on Gem before March 31 will be able to get a Gemesis NFT for free until May 4. The objective of OpenSea’s acquisition of Gem in 2022 was to improve the experience of more advanced “pro” users, by allowing them to acquire NFTs from various collections and multiple marketplaces in a single transaction, reducing thus the costs of gas.
