The World Happiness Report supported by the United Nations (United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network) has published its annual report on the countries where it is good to live in the world. The study is based on several criteria such as life expectancy, social benefits, political institutions, freedom, education, etc.

For the 6th consecutive year, Finland tops the ranking and no less than 5 northern European countries are in the top 10. France is 21st, while only 2 non-European countries are among the 10 happiest countries in the world, ahead of Austria11^eAustralia 12^eCanada 13^eIreland 14^e and the United States 15^e .
